The Importance of Standardization
Texas A&M University is committed to ensuring that all official University information on University websites is accessible to, and usable by, all TAMU students, faculty, staff, and the general public regardless of disability (see University Rule: Web Accessibility and Usability and Standard Administrative Procedure: Web Accessibility and Usability Procedures).
The University's Web Accessibility and Usability Standards incorporate the federal standards established by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as well as requirements that are unique to the University. It is the responsibility of each department/agency and its website developer(s) to apply the “required” standards to both current and future University websites. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding web accessibility, please contact the University's Web Accessibility Coordinator (ITIM).
